The status "Accepted" means that a Traveling Mailbox team member has retrieved the requested item and is in the process of completing the requested task such as an Open and Scan. This also serves as a check for our team members where the system ensures that the team member has retrieved the correct item by scanning the barcode that is placed on the item after the item has been retrieved.
Once the task has been completed, the status will change from "Accepted" to "Completed" and if you requested an open and scan for example, that scan will become available for you to view in your Traveling Mailbox.
