We recommend starting your account with us one month in advance of your travels. This gives you time to setup the account and make any changes to your mail.

Note: If you plan to move outside of the United States, in order to complete the USPS Change of Address, please signup and complete the setup and your change of address BEFORE you leave the United States.

Ultimately you can signup whenever you want, but we recommend a month to ensure a smooth transition.
