Tracking records carrier scans and shipment events. A period without a new update does not, by itself, establish that a shipment is lost. Start by checking the latest status and whether the carrier has recorded receiving the shipment.
If the status says “Label created”
This means a shipping label has been generated. It does not by itself confirm a carrier acceptance scan. Shipment preparation, carrier collection, and the first tracking update are separate events.
Check your shipping request in the Forwarding section of your online mailbox. If the request is complete but tracking remains unchanged and you need an update, contact our team so we can review the shipment.
If the shipment is in transit
Read the tracking history on the carrier’s website, including the latest event, any delivery estimate, and any exception message. Updates may occur at checkpoints rather than continuously.
An exception can indicate a disruption such as weather or customs processing. Review the carrier’s explanation and any action requested. An estimated delivery date may change as the shipment moves through the network.
What should I check before contacting support?
- Confirm the tracking number and carrier match the shipment you are expecting.
- Note the last tracking event and its date.
- Check whether the estimated delivery date has passed or the carrier has requested information.
- Have your mailbox number, shipment date, and destination available.
Contact us if the delivery estimate has passed, the status shows a problem you cannot resolve, or the shipment contains time-sensitive items. Our team can review the details and help identify the next step.
Which tracking number should I use?
Use the number for the shipment we sent to you, rather than the original tracking number used to send an item to Traveling Mailbox. See how to find your shipment tracking number.
