Will My Mail Automatically Transfer to My New Traveling Mailbox Address?

No. Mail does not automatically move from one Traveling Mailbox account to another when you switch locations.

New incoming mail

Notify each sender directly and give them your complete new address, including your new mailbox number. Opening the new account does not update your address with senders.

You cannot submit a USPS change of address away from your Traveling Mailbox address. Update banks, subscriptions, business contacts, and other senders individually.

Mail already in your previous account

Review the physical items in your previous mailbox and arrange any needed forwarding before closing it. Our mail-forwarding instructions explain how to request a shipment from your account.

If you want an item handled specifically as a transfer between two Traveling Mailbox accounts, contact Support first to confirm the available handling and any charges. Do not assume an internal transfer is automatic or free.

Scanned documents

Scanned documents do not automatically transfer either. Save any documents you want to retain before closing the previous account.
