Yes. When you submit a standard USPS Change of Address request, magazines mailed using USPS Periodicals service are generally forwarded to your new domestic address at no additional charge for 60 days, provided the sender has fully prepaid the postage.
To keep receiving your magazines, update your mailing address directly with each publisher as soon as possible.
How do I update my magazine subscriptions?
For each subscription:
-
Sign in to the publisher’s website and look for Manage Subscription, My Account, or Change Address.
-
Enter your complete Traveling Mailbox mailing address exactly as provided in your account, including your mailbox number.
-
Save the change and check when the publisher expects it to take effect.
-
If you cannot update the address online, contact the publisher’s subscription support team.
A USPS change of address does not replace the need to notify your senders directly.
What happens after 60 days?
Magazines still sent to your old address generally will no longer be forwarded under the standard Periodicals forwarding rules. USPS may dispose of the copies or return them if the publisher has requested that service. USPS also provides address-correction notices under its Periodicals rules, but you should not rely on those notices to keep your subscription current.
What if a magazine stops arriving?
Contact the publisher to confirm the mailing address on your subscription, ask which issue will use the new address, and request assistance with any missing issues.
If you need help confirming your Traveling Mailbox address, call 855-749-1737 or +1 919-561-6631, or schedule a Zoom Support appointment.
These USPS rules concern magazines being redirected from your previous address to your Traveling Mailbox address. Shipping items onward from your Traveling Mailbox is a separate service.
